Mommy Moments: Motherhood
I am blessed with a loving husband and 3 wonderful, wonderful kids. Indeed, God has been very kind to me. If you ask me before I had a child if I am capable of loving somebody else more than myself and more than life itself, I would have replied with a resounding "Hell, no!" But now that I am a mother, I do know the feeling. I have known no greatest joy from the love that my kids have given me and my biggest fear is that harm should come to them. It is really a blessing to have been given the chance to become a mother, and I feel so thankful

May 27, 2010
Pasasaan ba at makukuha din ng nanay ko ang mga tamang numero! At sa palagay ko, hindi lang ang nanay ko ang matagal ng nag-iisip kung ano nga ba ang lalabas. Ha ha, ang lotto, bow!

For People with Disability
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am very glad to have found out about NMEDA, an organization that aims to promote safer transportation option for people with disability. They are an association of mobility equipment dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists and other professionals whose main objective is to give people with disability the freedom to drive or be transported. I am sure it means a lot for them to be able to move with freedom and dignity despite their disability.
It is important for us to know about these things especially if we are caring for our loved ones. We must remember that safety is always the primary consideration. We cannot use for another person a vehicle fitted for another. Each person has different sets of needs and capabilities that must be evaluated before you go ahead and purchase a vehicle. Make sure that your dealer has passed the NMEDA Quality Assurance Program. It is your personal guarantee that they have consistently passed the accreditation requirements of the industry.
So if you have special transportation and vehicle needs for your loved ones, make sure to check out NMEDA.org and see if there is a qualified dealer near your area. Remember that we should never sacrifice the comfort and safety of people with disability just to save a little money. In the long run, it really pays to talk with dealers who are not only part of a group that raises awareness on the special needs of persons with disability, but also consistently adhere to set standards of quality.
Remember to check if there are qualified dealers in your area!

Certified Public Accountant
May 26, 2010
I was talking to her just last night and she plans on learning more about option trading because she just might get a job as finance manager of an investment company. Aside from that , she has to learn trading, derivatives, stocks and a whole lot more. I told her it would be best if she study to become a CFA. But at the moment, I told her to just enjoy the moment and the fruits of her labor. It would be too soon for her to be thinking about getting a new job and studying at the same time. But I guess she has to take the plunge sooner than later! And when she does, I know that this certified public accountant will go a long way! Congratulations again, Jinky!

Getting Serious with blogging
May 19, 2010
So do you think its time to get help from a search engine optimization company? Seriously, I have no idea how to make this blog rank in search engines. It has mostly been a hit and miss for me. So I will now look for help on blogging forums and seek free tutorials from friend.

I Want a New Phone
May 17, 2010

My ever trusted Nokia 6300 is dying on me and I want a new phone. I saw this baby with our security guard and I was like, I want I want! I have a company-issued phone that has long since said goodbye so I need to buy one for myself. If only we have business phone systems at work, then this wont be such a problem. See, my boss called me a while ago and mid conversation, the phone just went dead! I had to snatch my friend's phone to call him back.
So I want this baby here, a Nokia E63, which Kiranz here called an ultimate phone. So if my husband is reading this, you know what I want :-)

First Computerized Election Experience
May 10, 2010
We woke up early, just had coffee and was at the precinct to participate in the country's first ever computerized elections. We were there at 815am, and there were maybe some 50 voters ahead of us. But there was only one teacher, and senior citizens who were allowed to vote first took long to cast their votes. There were also missing names in the list even if they have their voters identification cards. There were also a lot of those "singit" so it took us 3 and a half hours to vote. Despite the heat and the long lines, I personally consider my voting experience hassle-free. Even when my ballot caused a paper jam which was immediately remedied after I took it out again and press clear.
Here are some pictures of our voting experience:
This was on the street on the way to the school. I guess the trees and the electric cables were already taken.

Mommy Moments: Motherly Advice
May 7, 2010
Other than giving you all a motherly advice, I would like to share this forwarded email I got today entitled Before I was a Mom and I would like to dedicate this to my own mother, Mila.

I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom.
To my mom, thank you for teaching me to become a good mother. I love you!

Munting Buhangin Beach, Nasugbu Batangas
May 4, 2010
We went to Nasugbu Batangas for an outing with my husband's office mates last Labor Day weekend. We had no reservation at any of the resorts there, although we meant to check out the L Caraz resort in Nasugbu. We arrived at 1am, and there were no rooms or cottages available. The next available room will be at 11am and we didn't want to wait. We checked out availability of the other resorts there, but we were not lucky. Our only criterion were a room, a karaoke and the beach but during peak season, all were not available. Fortunately for us, we found a very good guide, who not only showed of many resorts to choose from, and when we were not satisfied, told us that we can hire and boat and check out the other side of the beach. And that we did!
So we travelled by boat for 15 minutes and arrived at the beach which at night looked very good to us. We checked out two resorts: the first one had a pool, the rent for the cottage was P1,500 and entrance fee was P200 per person. The one just right beside it had no pool but entrance was only P75 and the cottage was P700 and they would let us cook our food for a very minimal fee! The choose the latter, of course since we were there for the beach and not the pool. By then tit was 230am and I promptly fell asleep on the table!
I woke up at 630 am and here are some pictures of the beach were we landed!

While riding the boat going back to Nasugbu again, here was a very nice view!
