For People with Disability

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am very glad to have found out about NMEDA, an organization that aims to promote safer transportation option for people with disability. They are an association of mobility equipment dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists and other professionals whose main objective is to give people with disability the freedom to drive or be transported. I am sure it means a lot for them to be able to move with freedom and dignity despite their disability.

It is important for us to know about these things especially if we are caring for our loved ones. We must remember that safety is always the primary consideration. We cannot use for another person a vehicle fitted for another. Each person has different sets of needs and capabilities that must be evaluated before you go ahead and purchase a vehicle. Make sure that your dealer has passed the NMEDA Quality Assurance Program. It is your personal guarantee that they have consistently passed the accreditation requirements of the industry.

So if you have special transportation and vehicle needs for your loved ones, make sure to check out and see if there is a qualified dealer near your area. Remember that we should never sacrifice the comfort and safety of people with disability just to save a little money. In the long run, it really pays to talk with dealers who are not only part of a group that raises awareness on the special needs of persons with disability, but also consistently adhere to set standards of quality.

Remember to check if there are qualified dealers in your area!
